The Mediterranean

The origin of sugar cane in the Iberian Peninsula dates back to 711, when the Arabs introduced it to the Kingdom of Granada. Sugar cane has been cultivated in these lands since the time of al-Andalus.

Only in a few privileged corners of old Europe , like ours, can a plant as exotic as sugar cane grow.

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is one of the main producers of sugar cane in the Caribbean and Latin America.

It is the birthplace of some of the best rums in the world . One of the main secrets of the success of Dominican rum lies in the barrels. Each barrel has its own life and will deliver, within its spectrum, a special note depending on the type of wood or the type of aging it has had.

Guyana - Demerara River

The smooth and uniquely complex aged rums represent over 300 years of Caribbean rum making.

Guyanese rums are produced on the banks of the Demerara River . These rums are loaded with aromatic essence.

Heat and humidity: this is the climatic cocktail that gives Guyana rum its special character.

The value of these rums is given by the rarity of the product , by the careful aging and by the explosion of aromas and sensations that it gives off with each sip.

Perfect result of mixing, infusion and maceration of secret spices , where darkness, temperature and time manage to give life to a signature rum.

Maceration

We macerate spices such as cinnamon, cloves, pepper, vanilla and other secret spices from our master blender, we macerate them in white and old rums fermented and distilled in Spain.

The maceration time is decided by our master blender with daily tastings until the optimal moment to create the perfect blend with our selected rums. Normally this process lasts between 10 and 15 days.

Secret Infusion

This process changes everything, we use a secret infusion of herbs and shrubs to lower the alcohol content.

Blends of premium Guyana and Dominican Republic 12 year old rums offer a complex and unique character to this elegant rum, evolving on the nose and palate towards a powerful and spicy finish with delicate pastry notes.

    AROMA: Surprising, unique and complex. Soft opening with dehydrated orange, rich vanilla, evolving to cinnamon, clove, allspice and wood.
